Report on health of elderly ‘brutal’ (Chicago Sun-Times)
The government on Thursday issued a “brutal” report on the health of elderly Americans. Four out of five adults 65 and older suffer at least one chronic condition, and half suffer at least two. Chronic conditions include arthritis, heart disease, cancer, diabetes and Alzheimer’s disease.
